Welcome!

Elizabeth is a Mexican painter, currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has received an MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) from San Jose State University and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She specializes in oil painting on a variety of surfaces. Her work has to do with animals, women and personal history.

Elizabeth is currently back in the studio painting. Check back here soon for a sneak peek at some of her new paintings.

Elizabeth recently completed her third children's book for Children's Book Press, Moony Luna, to be released in April of 2005.

Elizabeth's work is featured in the very impressive new book: "Contemporary Chicana and Chicano Art: Artists, Works, Culture, and Education" by Gary Keller, Joaquín Alvarado, Kaytie Johnson, and Mary Erickson.
