Thanks for all this information! I was also hoping for a comprehensive list of schools and reviews, but this post has helped immensely. I did want to add that the "delivery options" is misleading. According to all documentation coming from the California courts, the schools are all REQUIRED to transmit a copy of your certificate of completion (complete w/ date completed) to the courts within 24 hours of completion at no additional cost to the student. Per the courts, as long as you take the course by your due date, any "expedited" certificate delivery service is UNNECESSARY!

The course is bit lengthy. If you read all, it will take hours. But the material is easy to read and good presentation.

The final test is not so difficult. I just completed in first attempt.

Good luck and safe driving guy...!!!!

I just completed the course after spending way more time looking for the right 0n-line school than it took to prepare for AND take the test with this one! I highly recommend it. There actually is a Q about our fictional friend "Speed Racer" on the test, the "comic" part of this "traffic school".
Beware, once you start the test, you can't leave or you'll be charged again, even though it's only a small amount. I wouldn't have interrupted, had I known how easy and quick the test would be. If you complete the course shortly after you get your ticket, you can get it done for $10 (by saving yourself more expensive delivery options) and I "revisited" quite a bit of useful driving info (with graphics) in the process.

How nice that it was 4 seconds at your intersection. It's 3 and change (like 3.1, 3.2, 3.4) at the ones in San Mateo. The minimums have been purposely lowered since the mid-80s, just as red-light cameras began rolling out. Under the 1976 traffic engineering guidelines the big intersections in San Mateo would have to have 5 seconds of yellow. For a turn of any kind, the minimum is 3 seconds, regardless of intersection size, speed limit, or grade slope. The low yellow times create a dilemma zone for motorists where you're not sure whether to stop or keep going. Ironically, motorists willing to accelerate into a yellow have a better chance of beating the camera than those of us who follow the safer practice of coasting through intersections with the brake covered. I've been driving since 1976, and driving in California without any violations or accidents since 1989 - until I was nabbed recently by one of the SM cameras. Although like you I plead guilty and did the same traffic school, I was outraged to discover the shortened yellow times, which I'd had a vague feeling weren't as long as I remembered from decades ago. Thanks for the review of the school, by the way - it helped me pick from the long list given to me by the court.

RWC school district is a sinking ship with no bailout in sight. Cutting music, that's shows the priorities of the admin. , what about the admin overhead and the poorly managed investments?

Anyone with kids in the district is concerned and looking at private schools or moving to another district. The tax revenue will continue to decline and more cuts to come until the State takes over. Yes, someone will eventually see how poorly managed this district is and clean house or perhaps your Democratic leaders will distribute the wealth more with more of your tax dollars. The homeowners who are paying top tax dollars and slaving away working to try to give their kids a decent education are the ones hurting the most.

I am not sure the union represents the view of all its members. For once, my son's teacher (who received a pink slip) is hoping for the union to accept the furlough so she can have her job back.
